I Won Something

Dragged out tonight to Red Note at the Traverse, one of their “Noisy Nights”, this time music set to little films. During the interval they set a “10 – minute Composer’s Challenge” viz: “If you write a piece for Violin, Cor Anglais and Viola in these 10 minutes on the manuscript paper provided, we’ll play the best one right here, right now.” I won, and they played it to a little film made starring members of the audience. Hooray.
